My name is Bhargavi (pronounced Bhaar-gaa-vee).
I studied marketing in business school and have worn many hats in the past. My north star has always been a curiosity about how things and humans work.
When I discovered UX, it was quite literally an "aha" moment for me as I realized UX is a melting pot of disciplines. In my previous avatars I've run small businesses, managed sales and credit teams, written books and enjoyed staying home caring for my daughter.

I am excited to use my passion for business and strategy with my writing, design and critical thinking skills to create meaningful digital experiences.

I love to get lost in a good book. I've written and reviewed books and blogged in a previous avatar.
Patterns and art ..
I love creating patterns and illustrating with Procreate, watercolor and gouache. I sell merchandise created with these patterns on Print-on-demand sites.
Hiking and photography are twin passions..
I love to photograph places of natural beauty and hike in them. The Canadian Rockies and Glacier National park will always have my heart.
Self-sustainability is my jam!
I enjoy growing produce and flowers. I am that Zucchini lady who offloads extra produce on unsuspecting souls every summer. I grow plants indoors hydroponically during the dark and wet Pacific Northwest winters.
